ITT: People sunk costed into WoW trolling the FFXIV forums pissing on this event.

I'm doing praetorium so I can alt tab do other things during the cutscenes.
If you really wanted to, you could be doing pandaemonium for the event tomes, no one is making you do praetorium.

At least it makes sense that you say ffxiv is worth the sub, but wow isnt, because you dont want to play the game, you just want to be tabbed out, WoW actually requites you to play the game

Man, I bet you some of that majority aren't even happy about it. But you know, those same people will defend the game at all costs, so they'll just smile and bear it.

Pretty much, these people are ruining the game tbh, that's also the reason why this game is doomed, as long as these people are playing it wont ever change, and they wont ever leave in all honesty.

Thats why i feel people are happy with how the game is so they can do other things while not playing and occasionally play when they need to press something. I would rather have a game that actively has you think and play rather then being able to do stuff outside of the game while spamming praetorium during events like the moogle times and not have to pay attention. At that point square should just make praetorium a solo instance that just plays 20 minutes of cutscenes with no combat.

Personally I just think outside of some dungeons and boss themes, Soken's songs are so boring that in my quest to find music or just "white noise" to keep me awake I lose all motivation to continue playing.

It's unfathomable how lazy this is for a 10th anniversary event.

People will probably white knight it super hard anyway, given that the rising is an event quite literally explicitly designed to exploit peoples parasocial feelings towards the developers.

The mount doesn't even have a transform animation. It's lazier than most normal mounts; They just flip a flag that turns your character invisible after you do your stupid generic whistling animation to summon it. Yikes.

Roulettes count. I just did Euphrosyne via Alliance Raid roulette and got 14 moogle tomes.

You can get moogle tomes through roulettes but since the dungeons you get are somewhat random your not guaranteed to get a dungeon that gives them.
