I appreciate the topic and the information. I'm not blaming you, Hysterior.
This whole Legacy thing has been quite confusing. They say you have to register by May 31. Then they suddenly take away the 90 day option by June 30. This almost implied that if you registered for 90-day before it was removed, that you could qualify for legacy. But no, apparently that May 31 register date is still the first requirement. Hysterior, do you have a Legacy confirmation email and Legacy logo on your character screen, or are you hoping to get one after three months have passed? Maybe quite a few people will get a nice surprise in August or Sept. to be suddenly notified that they qualified after all. That would be nice.![]()

I think the notification will come in 3 months:
From mail 1
"if you then subscribe every month without interruption and reach 90 days of billable subscription before the end of September 2012 you will be a member of the Legacy Campaign.
The Legacy mention will appear on your account once the criteria of 90 days will be met."
From mail2:
"You should be eligible for the Legacy capaign if you have paid for 90 days before the release of FINAL FANTASY XIV 2.0. We can only recommend that you continue to subscribe until the re-release of the game and if you are eligible you will be notified."
anybody who has first debit going in July should be ok (July/August/September = 90 days payment before end of sept)

But I specifically told them I registered after May 2012 (registered in June) and they replied to it with
"You should be eligible for the Legacy capaign if you have paid for 90 days before the release of FINAL FANTASY XIV 2.0."
and I don't think it is an automated message since there is a spelling mistake haha

I'm not too sure about that "should" on the second email. However, best of luck to you and everyone else on the same boat!
I hope this is true. My 90 days was cancelled because of a billing error and i can't get the 90 day sub again.
