Crazy Idea - Gold Saucer Events In Player Housing?

Housing is pretty much as you Described. RP.

Now what they COULD do instead is develop more intractables, and even develop some items that could be like games.
Like some of the Gold Saucer Machines, but in Player Housing.
Perhaps some Mini Games for Training the Chocos that could teach them Unique Skills....but of course that would mean they Update Chocobos.

There already are GS machines for houses though. Cuff-a-Cur, Monster Toss, Moogle's Paw, Out on a Limb, Finer Miner all have machines. You can easily farm MGP in your own home/apartment using them too

I think in a recent interview Yoshida was musing on having emulated versions of FF1-6 as playable arcade games that you can place in your home and that to me is such a cool idea.

The only issue that he mentioned is finding somebody who can code it to work.

You mean like the emulators and web browsers people have modded into minecraft?

We already have bare bones "render cores" for SNES emulators that you can render to texture with. You'd just have to be compliant with the licensing.

Personally, I always thought housing areas having there own FATE/GATE-like events to help draw people in could be fun. Maybe if you're waiting in the city, a message will be announce that the event is up and will give you an option to teleport to one of the wards.

Yup, hence this post. Some 20 minute rotation event but the only way to access it is to go travel around housing districts.
