I am going to judge the system based on this fact, and based on how the community interacted with it more than anything else.

Hundreds of people? Yeah, No. At best you're dealing with a couple dozen, and with the availability of housing now you stand a fairly decent chance of actually getting a plot, provided you aren't being selective with this process. A few worlds on NA would pretty much be the exception to the rule, which is more a factor of population that anything else, something that no iteration of housing they've had could resolve it. They would either need to rework housing or work it so that worlds have more dynamic distribution with their wards.

I would change the lottery entry periods to be more frequent on that note, probably every 6 days. 2 Days on for bidding, 4 days off for results. This is about the only thing I would adjust

    I wonder....
I was talking in a perfectly equal world, but you are right, I am contradicting myself on that one, because in a way I agree, in a way I disagree, back when I wrote that, I was mostly hit by that one streamer who bid on an m35 with like 40 bids, basically denying anybody else from even attempting to bid on it, I think that's overkill, and it led me to have the opinion that it should be 1 bid per fc.

Sounds a little better at least yeah, there is really no need to have 9 days per cycle, its completely overkill

I mean I can somewhat agree with you in sentiment that larger FCs generally should have better shots, but the reality really is that not all large FCs will necessarily make full use out of that large. There's a fair amount of people that run venues with little or no actual members in the FCs, and they create a more communal atmosphere than most large FCs could actually achieve since you rarely actually have that many members there simultaneously... SE does very little to actually incentivise it, and haven't done so since the OG Diadem 1.0 - and if we were to take it a step further then large plots should generally in the first instance be reserved for FCs under this premise, which isn't necessarily a good one since more members, nor more Gil generally translate to make pragmatic use of the plot.

So I think with this in mind it should really only be 1 bid per plot per FC. - I get that it's easy to flip opinions based on whether or not you win with the lottery and how long that is an outstanding goal for. But to trail back on a point with the older iterations... Most people wouldn't even have a chance at actually going for the plot, let alone actually obtaining a plot with the first iteration. Lottery simply places everyone on even tracking, regardless of whether or not people think that it favours a particular subset of players, e.g., multiowners.
