The fact you think it's better than the old system is actually pretty ironic, because in the past, you had to deal with a few people that were determined to get the plot they were on, and also FYI prime time was a thing, which was about 3 hours, there was no obscene or unhealthy, the players made it that way because in their minds they had to be there from minute one the plot went up to it's sale hours later, but adding to what I said earlier, you had a few people there, now in that place, you have hundreds of people fighting for the same plot, so sure, you get "an equal opportunity", but it's not a positive, because you end up agaisnt hundreds or at least dozens more people than in the past, effectively giving you less of a chance to get the plot, so no, it's not the positive thing you think it is, it just has reduced the chance of people to get a house in general on medium and overpopulated worlds. As abysmal as the housing system is in this game, lottery is probably the best they've had it so far. We went from houses getting gobbled up in mere seconds (and accessible house selling/trading -- I mean more accessible than current), to obscene and unhealthy amounts of placard camping en-masse. To something that is pure random chance, giving absolutely everyone equal opportunity at gaining a plot.
Not only are there more people on the plots themselves, but the cycles are 9 DAYS LONG, which means you have 3 chances at getting a house PER MONTH.
So sure, people dont have to camp for 3 hours a day to get a house, but it's not any better, you just have to wait longer to lose the house instead of seeing it after a few hours of camping, yay?
So you would punish big fcs wanting to upgrade from a small/medium to a large ? You know this would favor multiowners and people in shell fcs right ?Now I would make a specific change under their current system, in that only 1 bid per FC to be placed per plot to be permitted.
