One of the strong points for me in FFXI and VI besides designs and landscapes, is the comunity. I was in WoW and Aion too and didn't like at all the atmosphere there. If you were in party ppl could just leave anytime without even saying a word. They don't even say hello when joining one and if it took more than 10 mins to find a healer ppl just left without even helping. Maybe it was just because you could make lots of characters and wouldn't give a damn if someone remembers you. And the begging, all the time were ppl just begging for items and money. In general very disrespecting to others and not helpful. Ppl just joined to help if they needed the same item or quest. In general it was like "I don't give a damn who you are, I just want my stuff, and if you're not good enough I will just go".

That's one of the reasons I feel home in Vanadiel or Eorzea. Blame the japanese to be so educated and polite, but it has spread to occidental players and all FF comunity. I love to join a behest and see "nice to meet you" and see all bowing. I loved in FFXI the feeling of responsability when you had to leave and told the party 30 mins before and even got a replacement.

It doesn't matter what LS you're from, if we know you or not, you are welcome and part of our group. As such we respect you and we make you part of our world.

Nice to meet you. /bow
Let's play together again sometime!
