FC Chest Upgrade

We REALLY need an upgrade for the chest.
Like REALLY Need An Upgrade.

More tabs.
More slots.
Better rank options.
The option to give a rank only a certain number of withdrawals each day. NOT an absolute all or nothing.

This would be a huge thing for FC's.
Along with a glamour dresser for our house...if my FC got these it would be to cheering of so many.

Unfortunately, a glamour dresser outside inns seems to be a hard no due to some horrible backend spaghetti code. At least that's what they used to say in the past.

A larger FC chest would be very welcome and it should be doable, I hope.

Amen to that suggestion. Admittedly, FCs need more attention in general since so little of their features have been changed over the years. More FC Chest tabs, more features, new buffs, improved permissions, Workshop upgrades, etc.

With the game's recent focus on solo play, I doubt we'll see much, but it would definitely be welcome!

Yeah. IIRC the last time the devs actually commented on it they said something along the lines of "bad things can happen if multiple people try using a dresser at the same time." Which is presumably why dressers are limited to solo instanced areas like inn rooms.

There is a glamour dresser in the gc barracks too. I don’t see why they couldn’t add an optional room you can enter solo only. They could add that option to the door where you can enter individual rooms and the workshop.

1-2 extra tabs to the fc chest and more control on withdrawals would definitely be welcome.

I've thought that all FC's need a storage closet for the longest time. It would be an instanced room just like the Company Workshop where you would find a summoning bell, armoire, FC chest, crystal bell, toy box, and Aetherial Wheel stand, etc. Basically all the items we are forced to use in the house for accessibility.

A few more fc chest things i would like:
- A manual description in tabs. So you can for example write a category above it, or other comments.
- A tab dedicated to materia. Materia can take up a lot of space and similar to shards has a limited number of cases in which they are used.
- The ability for users to request items on tabs they dont have access to (potentialy still limited behind a rank - and just 1 request per user max). Especialy for the rarer items you dont want everyone to be able to grab it out. So working by request can still work here.
- Setting retrieve and deposit both as seperate options (so you can make a tab in which only a high rank can deposit, but any user can take). Could for example be used to deposit submarine rewards into for members to take.
