All this talk of WoW makes me want to play WoW again. I just refuse to give Blizzard anymore money. Maybe ill look for a Private Server this weekend.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Yup, FFXIV is worth the sub. WoW is not.
FFXIV is of much higher quality than WoW, even if you dislike the way some systems are designed.
People are confusing threads like this one with not liking FFXIV, when rather its intention was feedback, although I'd prefer a private survey because posts with issues will be taken the wrong way.

I would 100% prefer if PF was more friendly to progging without watching a guide and actually trying to figure stuff out, and then when we do hit a wall with mechs using macros instead of forcing people into voice chat or making me sit down and watch a video I fall asleep to. If JP server can do it so can we. As far as weekly lock out goes they need to change it more, recent change was something like less books per gear piece or some kinda exchange to change books into ones from other raids I dunno either way it's similar to PvP changes where it's too little too late. People enjoy grinding 6 or 8 books over 2 months for a chest piece but they also enjoy level boosting and story skipping 8 alts to raid 7 days a week 12 hours a day, I'm not saying everyone disagreeing with you is like that though. I don't want the game to be made purely for hardcore raiders or purely for toxic casuals we can have balance. I'd like the current tome cap increased earlier or from the start and I want guaranteed loot from raids. For us to act as if any of it is done in the name of balance or to preserve the sanctity of the games design is ridiculous you and I both know the weekly lockouts is to stem the tide of RMTers paying and selling for clears as well as catering to the top 0.1% of day 1 raiders who all unsub after the second week of the patch.
