What timegate in WoW? You are mythic geared in 2 weeks in Dragonflight just spamming M+.

I'm not 100% sure exactly what OP is referring to, but I think perhaps they mean Savage or Ultimate content? And yeah, that doesn't technically require an FC, but it does seem to require a static group to play with and progress, probably scheduled game nights to dedicate hours to getting through encounters, and most likely voice comms. Also, a lot of drama and blame games. This is why I don't bother to touch stuff like this in FFXIV, I just don't want that in my life, especially not with strangers on the internet. It's not even the difficulty of the content, it's the whole social commitment part of the equation.
I have exactly two of my IRL friends who play this game, and they only put in one hour every 1-3 weeks and are still slogging through ARR. Besides that, I'm on my own, but I like it that way. I like being able to queue for stuff in Duty Finder with randos and have a reasonable guarantee that we will clear whatever we get, even if there are difficulties or wipes in a worst case scenario. If it requires Party Finder pre-mades or statics, I don't even consider it.

Those contents have been cleared in PF for years.I but I think perhaps they mean Savage or Ultimate content? I only raid 5-6 hours weekly with my FC/staticmates; I avoid PF like plague. It didn't get me clears as fast as I'm hoping for; I didn't even manage to clear the last floors when it was current (Only E12s was cleared but it was at the butt end of 5.5), but I enjoyed the ride & fine either way cause more raiding burns me out real fast.
Meanwhile I've known a several "PF Warriors" friends who had long cleared the tier on patch because they ham the PF frequently.
So no: static and FC definitely aren't required.

Dear diary

no comms needed, people even clear ultimates via PF
dont give yourself excuses to not do content, it's ok to just not like to do content but dont give yourself false reasons to justify it, there is no need to

None of that is time-gated though. You can attempt it later if you want.
OP seems to have no interest in clarifying what they mean, just make a series of statements that dance around the point without actually saying what they're complaining about, so I'm not going to put any effort into trying to figure it out.

Nah, not really. The random PF will say Discord is available for callouts but you'll do better not getting used to callouts because you won't learn the mechanic that way. Going to be a lot more successful if you learn to read the icons for something like Bonds in 10s than waiting for someone to call it out over voice chat. I have a static I'm working with for 2 1/2 hours 4 nights a week so not a huge commitment. But I cleared P9S using PF on my free days 3 weeks before we cleared as a group. We just cleared 10S tonight and I've progged that in PF. I tackled EX6 entirely in PF. And on Aether at least (but that's an entirely different conversation) there are plenty of PFs out there for 11s, 12s, Extremes, Unreal, older Extremes from this tier, etc. Some even specifically saying they're blind learning parties.I'm not 100% sure exactly what OP is referring to, but I think perhaps they mean Savage or Ultimate content? Not really a ton of drama that I've experienced either. Most people when you toss Practice in the description know there will be mess ups and maybe wipes but everyone's there to learn these mechanics so we all try hard and focus.

Dedicated PF warrior here: no, you absolutely don’t need a static to raid.
