And yet one of those did not exist until Stormblood and a second one didn't exist until this expansion.
If the game has been stagnating since HW, shouldn't it have only the content we had in HW?
If you felt like you had more to do in HW, how much of that was due to not having reached 50 on every job in ARR not to mention 3 new jobs to level from 30 to 60?
Exp rewards have been increased over time, which is nice QOL for players trying to catch up but it also means we have that much less to do to level jobs from 80-90. We also only need to gain a total of 40 levels for new jobs added instead of the 90 levels in HW.
Certainly I understand that job design, especially for healers has become a problem. My gut feeling is that is what's causing most of the discontent. If jobs aren't fun to play then the battle content will be less fun to play.
But we have more types of content to do now than we had in HW. In that regard, the game has not stagnated regardless of personal feelings about the quality of the content.
Yeah, I really miss the long wait between 3.0 and 3.2... Oh wait. Everyone complained the devs took a break after nonstop working on 2.0-3.0 after 1.0s failure.
I also really miss diadem. It was sooooooo much fun.
Gordias killing off the raiding community was also great. Plus all of the overly complicated for no reason systems like the relic and crafting
And now we have 4.5 months between each endwalkers patch. I would gladly take back the heavansward era and the slight delay from 3.0-3.1 and its content over what endwalkers has been bringing us. I feel what we have now is jobs that are so simple you can cruise control play them without thinking and content that has become easier overall that allows people to put no effort in playing there jobs and still pass everything. I miss how crafting was now its so easy you can hardly make money except week one of a patch because everything crashes in prices.
