Please, increase drop rate the loot from world map

I'm enjoying the crafting things. I've hunted the materials by my own but when it comes to the loots from monster overworld, the drop rate is ridiculously low, like I've to kill them for 2 circles just for 1 root and the drive me mad.

So please, increase the drop rate of the materials from the monster in overworld.

I got tired of farming materials from monster drops that what I did was farm them till it drops ONCE so then I can instruct my combat class retainer to hunt it down for me. The higher the Retainers Ilvl then the more of that item and the less time it takes for them to come back.

Renalt, you dont actually need to farm items for the retainer combat missions. These are available automatically. The ONLY area where you need to farm materials in this fashion is for gather class retainers ( gather logs)

Ive tested this, and even on an alt that hasnt farmed say aldgoat skin, my combat retainers can go out and get them. The key is as you said, to gear the retainers to get the best yield. But heres the good part.

Combat retainers have what is called an ilevel breakpoint. For example you dont HAVE to give them the latest combat gear, Ive found that the first tier is usually sufficient.

( Mind you, Im the kind that has decked them all out in HQ Diadochos gear.....then again , you can put that down to me being a little too attentive to details )

Yes better ways to farm these materials would be nice. Right now you basically have to rely on battle class retainers, which is more or less pay to win.

It gets even worse when there is even one other person on the server who wants to farm the same materials. There are simply not enough enemys for two people to grind for monster drops.

Oh I forgot one thing...if gonna farm monster parts then NIN is best with Mug. Mug also increases drop rate and the amount. How I noticed it works is when I killed Black Sheep with it I would maybe get 3 or 4 wool from them if it dropped at all but Mug would also add to it. It would say something like "gained 3 wool" followed by "Gained 2 wool" right under that one a single kill. The higher your level I think the more you can snag at one time.

You get two for free.

And just yesterday I needed 120 skins, 120 wool, 80 other skins and another 20 other skins.

You get 15 items per hour per retainer. Thats 12 hours of sending out your free retainers. Sure that is possible in a day... but come on.

Plus of course the added space on the market board.

If you seriously want to play a crafter you basically have to pay for the extra retainers.

WoW allowed you to skin killed enemies in open world if you had leather worker unlocked. Would be neat if we had a new gathering class focused entirely on taking items from downed enemies.

Pay to win is any system where a player can purchase something that is not cosmetic in nature in order to gain an advantage. I would classify the retainer system being that. You're paying for an extra farming chance and storage space (i.e. the advantage) which sub-only/non spending players could not have without buying said extra retainer. By giving the ability to buy more retainers, they're selling additional access to two game features (more retainers for more farming + more storage space) which removes the possibility of it being a cosmetic only purchase.
