Except that he doesnt want ilevel creep removed, he wants the entire instance made a lot harder for reasons that are still yet to be explained in a substantive way.

When did I ever imply that, I want the ilvl returned to the original sync so CT can be experienced at the level it was originally intended

It's wild to me that anyone can think reducing ilvl creep on the CT raids can cause people to be walled out of the MSQ. Consider that people still cleared those raids just fine back in ARR/HW when jobs were harder to understand and people were worse at the game.

What has been asked is this? Where are the facts that people want content harder? Not talking about ilvl here? That is the question, no one can speak for all people they can only speak for themselves and maybe their 10 friends, but I doubt that even. The question is simple and we all know the answer. Some people don't want to say it though. For whatever reason. All this hyperbole is silly. If you want harder content say 'i want harder content'. Don't pretend you have any made up data no one else has.
Omg it's the freaking same on every MMO forum the same argument the same people trying to make themselves look like they are some expert gamer who plows through hard content and is successful at it. It really is laughable each and every time I read it. Eso had the same thread, if you want harder admit it. Don't say the masses want it when you don't know that period.
Personally, tuning ilvl would help. As it stands now people are having trouble queueing for duty finder because of data center travel. The intended change of difficult would make that problem worse in my opinion. Several times the question was asked why do you want to make the MSQ dungeons and raids harder but know one is willing to admit they just want it for selfish reasons. This conversation is old and tired and nothing anyone says here is going to make a difference.

Yeah a game that had nothing to do except attunement gated raids is surely a good comparision when people ask for MIDCORE content. Wildstar died before most people could even see the "supposedly" hardcore raids cause you had to drag every member through a slog of attunement that makes WoW Vanilla and BC look like FF14 clubbing.

FF14 already caters more to the 1% with ultimates than it does for people that want something inbetween savage and "i can clear this being afk"

You are not speaking for the masses. Read it again. But I also am interested in the why of what you want? If you adjust ilvl that is something I can get on board with. But changing the difficulty level is another animal and that will gate people not everyone is at the same skill level as everyone else in life if that were true we would all be Olympic athletes except most gamers sit behind a computer and think they are some sudo made up gaming athlete lol

But you still haven't answered the question of why? But okay I agree ilvl could use an adjustment. But since I am not privy to the data behind scenes I can't say with any degree of accuracy how much of one. I didn't put words in your mouth I just want you to answer the question of why you want it harder?
