I agree. Treasure Trove has tanked items that otherwise held some decent value. Nothing should be tradeable directly from Treasure Trove rewards. However, those special maps that guarantee you a portal - those should remain and let players sell those rewards.

That said, I mostly agree here.
For some absurd reason, this event doesn't have MGP Vouchers *or* the new Potentially/Conceivably Special Treasure Maps (These aren't even datamined, they're in the Party Finder's Treasure Hunt menu.). I'd rather have the Starbird minion be from this than the Fat Cat, or the Wind-up Gunnhildr than the hairstyle from Zadnor.
