I don't care about the advantage over other players. I do have a gigantic advantage over new players in Elpis and Ultima Thule, but that's not the point. The point is that those are the only zones worth farming for me and most other players. The other zones are done to unlock the rewards and then never again after that. I think it's important to design with a bit of variety in mind.

Maybe it's the 100+ possible iLvl difference in lvl 90 fates that makes no sense and the max iLvl should be nerfed.
Yeah maybe, but that will unfortunately not make FATEs any more thrilling, just more tedious. FATEs are fundamentally designed to be easy.

Let's remember that all that I'm asking is to change the scaling of players to be the same as it is in UT and Elpis. A flat minus modifier will account for the relatively easier (it's not much folks) difficulty of the earlier zone enemies.

They're also designed to be tedious.

I think they're pretty fun if you do them while you're waiting for other content to pop. And for learning a class in a safe but still at least kinda chaotic environment. But they're not prime content.

Still the only zones where I actively see people farming them are obviously UT and Elpis and even there it ain't many.

You can get a Vivre tho! Which is a pretty cool and fitting mount for Dawntrail.

Garlemald is a fun FATE zone because it has the most amount of single-target FATEs (the only fun FATEs imo)

The lower level side of the first two zones (Thavnair, Labyrinthos) can be interesting because the enemies are low enough to be one-shot by BLU's ultravibration.
