On one hand, who would buy gil, it is SO easy to get.

on the other hand, RMT could really cause some problems when everything in the economy is player made/sold

rmt isn't just buying gil
they also sell items and stuff for real money.
Like power leveling services.

what we can do to help id SE can sicky this is make a thread on each server where ppl list who their retainers are and we just buy from them. So we know who player retainers are and not by from possible rmt retainers.

The problem with listing names on a Public Forums such as this is that non RMT players can end up getting Blacklisted by the community because so-and-so pissed off that person due to drama or a click LS (i.e. MithraPride) had a group actively farming for a specific item and as such camping a certain spot and someone snapped a pic thinking it was a RMT group. It's always much better just to report these people to the STF through the game directly than through the forums.
