If anything it seems very counter-intuitive to me to have such short term content in a game that seems to be priding itself on the idea "Take a break whenever you want! This will all still be doable when you get back!" and yet we have content that dies so quickly after introduction. I feel as previously stated PoTD, HoH, Eureka, and Bozja, and even Diadem and it's several iterations never ran into these issues that hard. Honestly the reward structure for a lot of EW content needs to be re-evaluated and I hope given a lot of it is returning in Dawntrial it is being looked at.
I mean, they are doing that. Just not at a pace certain players want. They've been gaining players and most players aren't hitting that wall as they aren't playing FF14 hardcore.
