Genuine Question for Frequent Negative Posters

The real answer is they're here to farm likes from negativity, and argue with other people as a form of cope. How many times have you seen someone here say they've quit then months later they're still posting as if they never said that. Sometimes they use the Free Login campaign as an excuse than they'll still be posting even well past it, meaning they obviously resubbed. Some have openly admitted they're here to argue and lash out at "white knights", not to actually provide feedback under. They've made friends here doing so, some even forming discord servers that brigade this forum, linking forum posts of people to brigade.

They will say they're here to provide feedback one day, then the next claim that the devs don't listen to this place at all.....meaning their wasting their time here.

Forum culture is largely negative. If you want to farm likes here, if you want to be "popular", you trash the game and trash other posters who still enjoy it. This has over time shifted the forum culture even more negative. if they were genuinely serious, if they genuinely cared, they would have realized by now that the devs are not listening, and unsub. They wont do this, not because they really care, but becaues they get off on venting their frustrations here. Many are paying subs (and being actively ingame just enough) solely to post here. There's a certain individual here who had two active accounts, one got banned, so he bought another (and boosted it to 80) just to circumvent the daily post limit (by his own admission), then those accounts got banned, and now he's back on ANOTHER fresh boosted account. Just to post here! Some of them will buy multiple accounts just to make it seem like more people agree with them and inflate the likes on their own posts.

Being opposed to the "GCBTW" has become their identity. Perhaps they cared about this game at one point, but not anymore. They also act the way they do because of the lack of moderation, giving them a (false) sense of security that they can be toxic as much as they want and get away with it. This, to them, has become their personal safe space to act however they want without repurcussion. However, it's not that there is no moderation, it's just that people aren't reporting them, I've recently come to the conclussion. You may have noticed numerous of them have been banned recently, several accounts in the past 2 days. I'd like to say that would teach them a lesson, but as we've seen some of them just come back on fresh accounts and commit the same offenses again. Or some, I've seen, wait out their ban, then immediatley act toxic again. Just report them again until they run out of accounts. I think being banned, for some of them, would be doing them a favor. They'll be forced to find something better to do with their time then lashing out at other people over a game they've long become jaded over, and hopefully move on to greener pastures.

I do want to clarify that I never think in absolutes. While I think some posters are here only for drama and may have an unhealthy attachment to the forums (with a certain such poster even saying this themselves), I don't think any critique of the game is for that reason. Lots of people are here to voice concerns they are sincere about, so it would be an unfair dismissal of such people that generally are here to discuss the game and provide feedback.

If I wanted universal praise only, I'd be on the reddit that I personally can't stand lol.

Why do you insist on mis quoting me? I never called anyone a failure. Failure and unhappy are two different words that mean two different things.

Typically I only see white knight get brought up when they're trying to completely shut down all criticism and overly-defend Square. The same could also be said in reverse though, those who complain are told to leave because some can't handle the idea of their video game having something wrong with it.

Ultimately though, half of the posts on this forum are created by people who exist to bait others and we have barely any mod interaction here so they continue to flourish. The toxicity will always be present, I just learned to ignore it.

Because its easier to attack the person instead of an argument. Also many posters here are just here for the "i win, you loose" not to discuss anything. For that reason i dont think OP is honest or has any "good intentions" but thats only my conclusion based on what the forum has become "a Battleground to WIN the internet and be a *redacted* to strangers" because there is never a human behind the screen and nobody cares and all is Reddit/Twitter level nihilst.

On the matter, to hope that OP is honest and i am wrong:
I love the FF ranchise. I grew up on it. But the FF games lately are getting more and more soulless. Without passion, just money making. No love for gaming or storytelling. Making money is all good but damn, no love or passion?
Just: "Look i made a FF, give me money"??
And thats just sad. So yes, i fall under the discription of fallacy of investment for that i am still here but i expect them to dissappoint me with 7.0 again.

I never expected them to deliver everything to my taste but to go full soulless gashgrab is just sad. EW is nothing more than a rushed story wrap up that needed time to breath. On the other hand the mogstation pricing is closing in to Korea-grinder-P2W nonsense without any betterment of the game in sight. We get less content and a extremly strechted storytelling that is hurting the story and the game as a whole.

These critique points are made by many and sometimes in a good and even eloquent manner but nevertheless constructive in most cases. I dont expect them to tell us or me any specifics but to tell nothing and DO NOTHING is just EA/Blizzard level of disappointment.

Yoshida and his team gave up on gaming and here for the money and only for that. But without any passion games from such people will have no soul. Thats the reason AC from Ubisoft has its problem. SO, yes i think EW is lacking a "soul", its not bad but also not good despite beeing made by the people that created FF16, ShB, HW, etc. . A game without a soul is not good and will fail over time. I take bugs and crashes over soulless anytime of the day but thats me and my opinion.

TLDR: No, the dev just dont care and want money. Thats all. Does not matter how we present any critique. They gave up on games and just want money with the least amount of effort. No, this is not a critique on money making, its the "only money nothing else" whats creating a problem for me.
