- First try to fiddle with placing Furniture
Both inside and outside as getting to know how to place Furniture is crucial in knowing how to do it yourself. Housing is essentially puzzling, and the more Furniture? the more pieces you have to play with leading to endless amounts of solutions as there are so many ways to do it right. There are guides on youtube on how to float items as that's essential to unlock amazing builds done with just the default feature. But I'll give you a hint... there's a reason why so many use " BurningDownTheHouse " which you obviously shouldn't use as its against Terms of Service... Though I want to point out the obvious for obvious reasons, mhm

When it comes to a new decorating project? I simply ask or identify the following things that will help direct me to what I will use or how I will decorate

• Total Budget willing to spend ( of client or myself )
• Theme exterior/interior ( matching or not matching )
• Purpose or Functionality of the House ( FC / Hangout / Venue etc )
• Mandatory features (Bath/Bed/Bar/Podium etc)
• Total players it must be able to accommodate
• Preference of Colors wished to have for the house

This all will help filter out a lot of choices and decisioning making of what can be done or is preferable to use as there are so many combinations you can do.

Having trouble finding the name of the Furniture? You can always go to the Discords and make a screenshot of what you saw and ask how something was made or even what the name is an how to get it in the dedicated channels. Alternatively? you can use the online webpage here at " FF14Housing " to find what you desire.

If you ever feel like you're stuck still on what to decorate? trust me... you're never alone on this. Inspiration can go along way. I highly advice what was mentioned already to go to -> " HousingSnap " search a category or type in a description you think you want to see a décor example of? and you'll see what others have created. (PS: translate page to English)

Lastly? You can always hire a designer
Saving you the trouble and headache of doing the work. Though be careful who you hire... as I have met cases where players and friends got ripped off, served to only give passionate decorators a bad name... use the Discord links to search for creditable designers with portfolio's of their work to get your moneys worth if you do decide to go this route.
