Have your name starting with a -Z-, wait 4 hours before it comes up in credits.

I hope that not everyone will be listed and SE will just pick some randomly. It would make no sense to display names of everyone, even with a fast scrolling speed :|

Legacy members' names. Not Legacy member's characters' names. Although the same person can own more than one service account, the vast majority of all service accounts belong to unique individuals.

I'm surprised that people are so thrilled about having a name in the credits. I barely read them. Let alone regocnize names in them.

you know it's still too ambiguous on weither it's our real name or not. I'd prefer character name but if they actually say account holders name then meh. That's why I think it's the character name... We'll know when they give us the option to do it

I don't think it will be 20K, but maybe 2K. They can always split our names into like 5 columns, so that will reduce the length scrolling down tremendously.

Why would you not want your real name in the credits for a video game? Character names mean even less to someone who might actually look at the credits than someone's real name.

I in fact already have my name in the credits of one other game (twice, even). In that case, it's even something that can go on a resume. Not quite the case here since we're basically buying our way in rather than working for it, but you get the idea. Getting your real name into a game is a good thing, even if nobody ever reads it.

Why is this turning into an arguement. I'm just giving you how it reads to me and to me it still seems to ambiguous to know if they're talking about real name or in game names to me it sounds like in game names.

Now, I'm at home. Let me explain as to why I would prefer it to be in game names over real life names.

Say you're sitting there watching the screen as names go by like Oh Roseanne Bar.... Carol Burnet, John Doe, Jane Smith, Sarah Palin (pulling names out of my ass just because people recognize them but anyway) and then you're name pops up... you're watching a screen of names of people who you can't associate too or even know who their characters are. However while you're watching the credits for that part you see oh... Alhanelem Amidatelion, Rannie Lfey.... etc (don't want to offend anyone by putting their name in as well) and you see them and you're like OH yeah i talked to this person on the forum or I partied with this person or I'm proud to be in the same ls with said person. There's more a personalization with the people instead of just real names to which people don't know who you are. You're just a random person or a random name.
