Best Way To Go For Gear

Just hit 24 on my PGL, and gear is a bit hard to come by on at the wards. Is there some quest chains that reward some nice gear I should look out for, or should I just start crafting at this point?

Hm...what did you need? I could probably make two or three of each tonight and just put them up for sale. Then you could buy them. You may have to check all three cities' Item Searches though. Not sure where I'll put them.

I'm completely lost as to what I should be doing for gear as well. I just hit 22 on my PGL today. I've bought a few leather pieces and plan on buying some spike knuckles at 23. Other than that I don't know what I should be doing with my gil and I don't want to waste any of it on junk gear.

Notorious Monsters around the world Drop level 20-25 gear, this gear should be enough for you till level 45 or so if you also include the level 30-35 gear you get from other NMs.
Try to find someone to kill those monsters for you or try and get parties and killem yourselves.
They are easy to get and fast.

NMs is the best way to go till 50.
