ok cool
Cheers
Thank you!
you have the good ones
i have posted it on my page earlier but figured i could post it here as well, just to clarify why you see secret of mana there
Naming confusions
Final Fantasy Adventure (USA) and Mystic Quest (EU) for Gameboy were released in Japan as Seiken (Final Fantasy Gaiden) you can see it as Secret of Mana 1.
The other Final Fantasy Titles for gameboy are actually SaGa games in Japan.
Square choose to rename them because none of the Saga Games for snes were localized outside of Japan, egro unknown so they used the FF brand to sell it. Later on Saga Frontier, Saga frontier 2 and Unlimited were the only Saga Titles released outside of Japan under the original name.
There is a lot of confusion with Square games, all the secret of mana games were renamed, Seiken densetsu 2 became secret of Mana 1 because the first part (for GB) was named Final Fantasy Adventure.
Seiken Densetzu 3 for snes never was released outside of Japan (all the copies on ebay are fanmade bootlegs) Seiken Densetsu 4 came out as Dawn of Mana, other than that onlu Sword of Mana, children of mana and Heroes on Mana were released outside Japan, leaving Seiken Densetsu Friend of Mana unreleased.
for NES only FF I came out, II and III were not released , probably because the first one did not perform too well, for that reason IV for snes was named II in usa, V was skipped and VI was released as III.
