FFXIV is just really really disappointing!

Lol, come on how is this game hard or close to it. I remember my old days in XI all by myself. to be honest I didn't even know what the game was about but I didn't quit, I kept at it and now well my sig speaks for myself.

ya... but you also didn't have 20+ ppl hounding you to quit, calling you a troll, or saying go back to WoW. : /

I wouldn't blame him if he did quit. And ppl just basing stuff from his first post and fail to have raed his appologies.

Isn't that how it is right now in XI? Everyone in it for themselves, you join a new linkshell for gear and it's basically a cat fight. Everyone gets their hands dirty in the end. Only way to obtain town gear. Usually good ones had many jerks but hey if you put up with them and ignore you'll be fine.

What your saying is just because people are so mean to you in high school, calling you name and beating you up, you should quit school? That's your logic, now if you did quit well shame on you and them. Also they got their deploma, you on the other hand missed out. Same terms apply in linkshells leaving because of drama or people fighting over items and who deserve what item the most. Where would we be if we all quit just because things didn't go according to plan, I understand what he said and yeah not everyone has it easy or can pick up a controller and be pro but meh

I'm not siding with anyone, adding me with them is childs play. No body will care if tomorrow he dies or you die. Myself aswell, this is the world that we live in, it's dirty, ugly, sad, and beautiful at times.

But also take note he is not a native enllish speaker and prob didn't actually mean an hour. And even if it was. What really gives anyone the right to be a jerk to the guy?

I saw nothing wrong with what he wrote. Unlike most of you who started day one, the game don't play the same its alot more complicated with the complicating targeting feature. I seen worst from the ppl who calling out the op when they talk about ffxiv.

I remember logging in Beta1 was sitting there for 5-10min trying to move and walking around see how great the game look then i was like now what? i /sh and ask and someone told me to talk to a npc i did and got to a CS and d/c ; ; "Then on the website said the game was shut down due to many problem" Then next week came and same thing happen again. By the 3 Week i was like come on ; ; and i think it was fix by the 4time the game went on.

To the OP the game is not done yet you should wait too they fix everything maybe try the game 1month before you have to pay the game a month see the website each month and see what new or everyweek. But if you want to try out the game at least get a class 50 before quiting so when you return you have something high or just wait for the game to get better.

Thanks I wish I wasn't getting treated poorly by it. in my thread I posted pretty much asking why ppl feel the need to harasse others.

That's the name of the game. You should expect to be harassed when you make an unfavorable post about FFXIV. You need to understand that some of the folks on this board have invested huge amounts of the last 6 months of their lives into this game. I'm sure it is very upsetting to some of these people to hear negative comments about the way they've chosen to live their lives. It's just our human nature to go about things without reason.

I've been trying to break through the barriers these folks put up... I've been trying to tell them that the more we tell SE we're willing to pay another company money a different game, the more pressure there will be on the development crew to create a masterpice.
