Do players on Famfrit enjoy the army of bots in Limsa?

No, the vast majority doesn't. A lot of people here have left Limsa or otherwise gone off world, or moved. Many friends have told me their displeasure about it.
Maybe some people could find it funny if they saw it once, but when you've seen it go on for over a year and some of the drama and abusive speech that follows it around, you see it for what it is; a exploitation of free trials and a power-play for users personal dramas taken out on the entire server and any new players unfortunate enough to be placed in Famfrit. There's really no excuse for it and should not be allowed.

I rarely go there and it’s not like they do anything. I don’t care much about them either way. I didn’t realize they were going on for a year at this point.

I'm in Limsa every day and I always see the bots doing some funky lil dances n wutever else. Personally, I'm mixed like if you use bots to make a band of bards and play a couple songs (as seen in Gold Saucer) that can be cool. However, I don't want it to a regular occurrence, there should always be way less bots than actual players or the average afker n any of these high pop areas. Famfrit seems (at least every time I world hop in Limsa) to have way more bots than any of the other Primal Datacenter servers. Idk why but I hope we don't see the typa bots you can find in like FF11 or Eureka Pyros running bun fates to become a problem, but if we do then I'm ready to pull as many mobs as possible to wreck their setup lol.

Got tired of pressing the report RMT button. Luckily there's Sharlyan these days for quick market board access that is even closer then Limsa and no bots. On the contrary I wish they'd put the use of world travel to all cities not just starting cities though. On the other contrary no world is actually free the RMT garbage. Had characters on Hyperion and Leviathan before also and same deal. Back in HW the devs actually took more care to clean up the game of such and also managing the community on harassment and a lot of other stuff even to talk to the players. Nowadays it's gotten a lot lazier from their side. We also haven't gotten much truly new content since HW either. I'd say it's something we've just gotten use to with the expansions.

The only thing I can say is I'm thankful it isn't as bad as ARR. You'd be spammed tells or invited to parties or FCs by bots back then and it was extremely annoying.

Tbh as a new player seeing all this on Famfrit was pretty offputting and about 687% more cringe than I was expecting going into FF14. Got me wondering how some of them avoid bans but when I went to report the game actually gave me anxiety saying if I report the wrong person I would get timed out. So I just ignored it and avoided limsa.

Kinda weird these players dont get banned or something. Are they bank alts or something? Do they just dance in Limsa 24/7 for "immersion"? ( It was kinda ruining my immersion tbh ) Why is there always a character memeing a hated USA political figure? I have so many questions that research didnt answer. No one on the server seemed to even acknowledge them either. LIke they are all collectively ignoring their existence.

That said the jan 15/16 maintenance seems to have dispersed a bunch of the pink shirt wearing cult in Limsa....for now. The political figure I mentioned above is back though. Im not sure how this guy hasnt been banned yet xD

I detest them all greatly, the jades were fine, then so many other people and bots both started afk'ing all at the market entrance, just making limsa plaza rather insufferable to be in. Like someone else said, I just immediately warp to hawkers alley.
Really wish the devs could IP ban whoever is behind the "wee'boo police" "bots"
