I don't think the XP limits for duty finder are a good idea (let me explain!)

This topic has been answered by the Community and the problem was explained, solved and became irrelevant. If you feel like reading through it, feel free to do so

As a returner due to the 14-day gametime action, I have started yesterday getting back into FF14 after I had to stop playing 1,5 years ago due to Extern-Drive-Issues with the game, preventing me from playing the game without it crashing every 4-5 minutes.

I gave the game another shot on my new PC. Gladly it works perfectly fine and I am not experiencing any issues with it in performance.

HOWEVER... Since I am returning to the game and have basically lost A LOT of my muscle memory regarding the Jobs, I have to re-learn the game since 2 days to some degree. As result, I am currently leveling my alternate Job (Dragoon) instead of using my former main Job (Redmage), since I have a much better time with the melee action instead of the casting classes.

My gear for my lvl 58 Dragoon is at somewhere 124 item level (way too low for lvl 58 areas), I have a hard time to level up and do quests with that Job in the open world.

Now, the most logical solution would be to level up and get better gear, right? Here is the thing...
    1. I have already lvl 60 Gear for 250 ilvl in my armory chest.
    2. I can't equip it til I am lvl 60 with the specific Job
    3. To level up, I should play the game and do stuff like dungeons (etc)
    4. I can't level Dragoon while playing Redmage, so I am forced to play my lower level Job
    5. But I can't level up because there are huge diminishing returns for XP in the Duty Finder, making it impossible to level in activities appropriate for my character level

What I am trying to say is, the feature (that others told me exist to discourage grinding and burning yourself out), is actively preventing me from making meaningful progress in activities that I could play without much difficulty due to my outdated gear. Ultimatively forcing me to either wait for the daily bonuses til I reach lvl 60 or having to go into lower level areas where I get less XP and even less stuff that could help me from the item level.

In World of Warcraft, I can just spam dungeons all the time to level up my character. And while I can understand that people MAY OR MAY NOT like that type of leveling, you can do that there.

But in FF14, the game has active counters in place to prevent you from grinding to protect yourself from burnout, making it impossible to make progress in a single day or 2 in a meaningful way you have chosen to play for fun yourself.

I have to work a lot and if I have to wait every day to get 0,5-1 level done per day, that's not really encouraging for me to keep playing the game, especially considering the entire idea of the 14-day gametime thing is to make players return to the game and become potential subs for the future.

For me personally it feels like the game wants me to play and level up but doesn't let me level up while playing in the way I want.

    P.S: I won't read responses here.
