    Potted Plants

So I read one can grow flowers in pots to cut and place in vases. So I went looking for what flower and settled on the Rainbow Brightlilly Seeds. Except all I could find was a generic Brightlilly Seed, planted these and the tooltip implies it's going to be the red ones. PLUS there are a LOT of other colors. How can I access what color might happen?

Buy the red pomace, blue pomace, and mountain pomace and feel your inner child and mix the colours.

If I do one of each of the three do I get each flower with its own color?

If you put red pomace in a plant, you get red. Blue = blue. Mountain = Yellow. You can do one red/blue and get purple, but you can only apply one pomace per human hour. So you could get red, blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, and if you mix all three pomaces, you have a chance of getting rainbow, black, or white. Cherry blossoms are white, black, or pink.

Ah, disappointed to see it appears RNG applies here. Does anything change if one keeps pomace fertilizing until harvest, or is one application enough? Oh, when putting in a vase, is it only one harvest (i.e. cone can't mix separate plants in one vase)?

If you're going for rainbow/black/white, one red, blue and mountain will be enough. You'll have enough time to do all three. Then when it's ready to be harvested, it'll get shiny and you can rip it from its happy home. Only one plant per vase but you can put a bunch of vases overlapping and making it look like you have tons of flowers.

You need to use three pomaces on the plant (order doesn't matter):
    - Red Pomace
    - Blue Pomace
    - Mountain Pomace (Yellow)

Between each one of them, the game will force you to wait at least 1h. So, you'll need to remember to apply the other pomaces after you apply them.
The game will tell you that you will get a plant that is either <default color> (usually Red), or an unusual shade (either Black, White, or Rainbow). At this point, it's all RNG.

You can also add more pomaces to, say, have it give you an Orange color if the RNG fails (so you go Red + Blue + Yellow for RNG, then add Red + Yellow).

But yeah, it's RNG (even when it hits "unusual," it could be black / white / rainbow). I went through that struggle for my personal house (it's all flowers).

Note: Rainbow doesn't exist for Cherry Blossoms. Instead, you get Pink Cherry Blossoms.

Shades of coloring one's Choco... but there's a chart for that to get the desired result. Oh, and I am using lilies for my flower, always like them. I alreaady did the red, then blue and they are saying purple... oh, how many days to bloom from planted seeds?

For all the decorative flower seeds, it's 24 hours.

If you didn't already see it, I created a thread and posted images of all the different decorative flowers so you can see what color they actually turn out to be. I hope to keep the thread updated as new seeds are added.

Someone already turned me onto your thread, great stuff in there.

So far my experience is I get one of the three colors of pomaces AND if I go red to start, then blue, I get a purple. What I am curious about is what is the best choice to get a rainbow set of flowers...
