We need a way to conveniently exchange Poetics!

Bigger issue is they need a "gear item currency bag" for all the current bag filling garbage players get intentionally nagged with.

Trying to get into endgame is a big turnoff (and got me to quit ffxiv months at a time and to play a different mmo) as it feels like you need an excel spreadsheet and an addon to auto-clean and sort bags and to tell you what upgrade to target. If I wanted to do office work I'd get a front desk rep job at a company to be paid to do, why would I voluntarily pay to do it instead?

Like how much old stuff do you keep? I keep current books and trophies only in my chocobo bag (exactly 5 items atm). Spent all my Rokkon tokens right away and I get rid of the old useless stuff. If you farm an old mount, just keep farming for the same one till you get it and then get rid of the trophies either by discarding them or buying weapons to desynth.

Step 4: Cry because it has been literally years and I have only ever seen a billion wind-up Khloes, Zhloes, and other over-saturated minions that I may as well just NPC instead of wasting time by using market board space.

You have a better chance running Eureka for that minion. You can just buy mat with GC seals to make gil

Step 2: Sell Goblinol for 64 gil

Can also buy unidentified ore, trade for Thanalan soil and sell that on the marketboard if you'll get 960 gil or better per piece.

The fiddliness of going through all those boxes is unlikely to be worth all the effort when you can get a steady trickle of money far more simply. Plus it's completely killed the market for all of the less rare minions that used to be worth something.

Allow an option to trade Allagan Tomestone of Poetics for items exchangeable for gil (e.g. Allagan Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze Pieces at an exchange rate of 1 Poetic per 20 gil). BTW, the rate is calculated based on 60/3 (for ARR 'Poetics' minions) and 10,000/500 (a reward for 9 added seals to Wondrous Tails). Historically speaking, a Demicrystal was also sellable to NPC vendors at the same rate. I wouldn't even mind a rate of 10 gil per Poetic if that what it takes to make this happen.

Where can we ask the game devs for such feature? This would save me hours upon hours of painstakingly spending excess Poetics!

I farm Bojza daily to cap tomestones to make gil. It take 10-15 minutes to do this and the profit varies higher than just 20k that you mentioned per the 10gil per poetic. Here is how:
First, go to a website like https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Aymark. This is a list of items Aymark sells at Eulmore. Scroll down to crafting mats. Now you can do this with other poetics venders in 4.0 and below areas as Aymark is only a example. Now go to a MB and compare the prices of items on his sell list. Once discovered, take the highest priced item you found on the MB he or any poetics vender sells for crafting, buy in bulk then sell it. The MB is always in flux, yet doing this once you cap and then selling via your retainer yields amazing results. Just to give you a idea of the profit, about 9 days ago as of this posting...I sold nearly 2 stacks of Dwarven Chromite on the MB for around 90-120k. Of course prices vary per server, plus or minus my sold price. Do this every time you cap even if it takes that little bit of time. You will be in the millions in months to come if you do this!

Heh. I turn those goblinol in at the Doman enclave. 200 of them get you 25,000 gil. I forget what the exact amount is for the full 40k each week. I also at times buy the demicrystal and direct sell to a vendor for 8k gil for 80 demicrystals. As 80 is the maximum you can buy at a full 3k in poe. The dirt as you and others have said can catch you a nice income.

GC seal items like coke and hardened sap and such are still quite valuable. Submarines need vast quantities of them (81 for any given stage of creation due to things like Galvanized Garlond Steel calling for 9 cokes per recipe, or Cryptomeria Lumber and its 9 hardened saps) - and not everyone is patient enough to wait until they've got their own seals for those items.

So yeah.

1. Turn your poetics into gear.
2. Turn gear into GC seals.
3. Turn GC seals into coke.
4. Sell coke on the market boards.
5. ???? (time)
6. PROFIT!
