    I wouldn't think so because it isn't raw Gil that gets generated from the server, but instead you still need to interact with the market, etc.,.

    This is something that players underestimate the value of far, far too much. Go grab some poetics gear from Crystarium, trade that for company seals, and then you can either get Ventures, or other items and then sell those off. It's not an overly substantive amount of Gil, but passively over time the amount you can earn is really good.
