Looking for an easy way to item sync and not level sync

Long story short I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to sync your items down to min Ilvl for a trial or raid without syncing level down. Me and my static want to try practicing on lower level content before we go to current, and i just want to know if theres a way to sync items rather than having to go out and buy a lower level set for every level of trial cap, if you get what i mean. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Got to buy lower gear or at least remove some gear pieces.

But you need to understand that level weakens the effect of your stats. That's right, your stats get weaker as you level. But your stats grow enough to outweigh that... unless you use lower level gear. So wearing level 70 gear will make you weaker at level 90 than you are at level 70 (aside from potency increases and traits).
