Have you tried Beast in Black? Power metal with a bit of a late-80s feel. And a lot of Berserk references.

For similar power metal, I'd also suggest Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Battle Beast, Victorious, and Wind Rose.

I will give it a go this weekend! You did remind me of Steel Panther so gonna add that to my Spotify.
