I think this arguement could have used another paragraph or two to get the point across.

So when does your sub run out?
Because unless you have unsubbed you are likely still enjoying the game enough to keep paying for it and this whole thread was wasted effort on your part. Those who are still around have something in game that they are liking well enough to stay. Those who no longer enjoy something in the game have silently left.
My sub runs out in Dawntrail if it continues down the same path, which it likely will. And no, I do not make mog shop purchases. So when does your sub run out?

Not sure why this needed a novel and some weird argument. If I like something I’ll pay and if I don’t, I don’t. It’s not a complicated concept. There is no “psychological warfare” forcing you to sub.
I agree it is not solely the fault of the developers, but you can write a book and post that in the forums, or you can write short catchy snippets, and people, especially those paying a whole 50 cents a day, cant possibly imagine that its their fault for screaming about changes they HAVE TO HAVE to be happy, and then not being happy when they get exactly what they wanted. "YOU DONT PAY MY SUB" should be an indication of how likely it will be to increase awareness... earnest or not.Precisely. The state of AAA gaming nowadays and also FFXIV's current situation is not solely the fault of the developers. The players contributed to this through lack of awareness when it comes to their actions. It is not wrong to engage in an earnest attempt to increase that awareness.
as has been said, if you get entertainment from it... you will continue to pay. if you dont, then you are wasting your money... but its your money to waste isnt it?
Is that why there are several threads of pure negativity about how bad this game is every single day on the forums? Also, are you telling me there aren't people who stay subbed purely because of housing demolition timers? There is no psychological component to that?
If you are so certain about your conclusions why are you staying around until Dawntrail. Your Conclusions dictate what it is going to be. Could it be you are hoping that with the start of a new story arc you think things might change? So why bother telling people to unsub now?
For me barring major computer issues I am going to be around for a very long time as I am still enjoying the heck out of the game.
Maybe they haven’t read their own post while writing it to show themselves how unhappy they are and that rhey need to unsub. If you are so certain about your conclusions why are you staying around until Dawntrail. Yes, you are correct. I have a very small glimmer of hope combined with the fact that gaming landscape is mostly desolate of good options that don't have psychological warfare on the players, aka nickel and diming. I will 100% stay true in my word though and unsub permanently should Dawntrail continue the trend. I'm also not the one making complaint threads every single day though and talking about how unhappy I am with this game every single day.If you are so certain about your conclusions why are you staying around until Dawntrail.
