No one here wants a forum "full of uncritical praise" nor do they "love sloppy game design." These comments are just absurd and fails to see any nuance and what posters are actually saying.

What part of my OP is hyperbolic? That when players stop paying, it is effective in getting attention from the devs when complaints fail? Or are you trying to say things aren't that bad? It's been 4 years since ShB came out and they've done nothing but take content quality and quantity away, little by little. The forums have had radio silence from devs and community managers for a long time now. Some of Yoshi-P's statements to the players have been downright dismissive, such as the infamous 'go play Ultimate' statement. We saw in front of our eyes some of the FFXIV staff and undoubtedly, funds, get taken to work on another game. Do you think the complaints are getting through to the devs? Because it doesn't seem that way to me. And it's not like this is some new phenomenon. This has been the situation in this game for awhile now.
