Forum - ability to ignore entire thread?

A suggestion for people in charge of the website/forums:

Would it be possible or feasible to allow a forum-user to ignore an entire thread, so that it displays with the message similar to that for an ignored poster?

"This thread is hidden because it is on your ignore list."
