Tiering Classes/Jobs

The title may be misleading, but this I'm not posting to start a what job class is the best post. Instead I'm trying to get insight on party builds in regards to the activities of FFXIV. For example, most of the primal fights require something along the lines of 5blm, 1pld, 1brd and 1whm. So could anyone tier the classes/jobs according to the activity and say why (the more detailed the better). I'm not only trying to improve how I play my lnc (which is painfully bottom tier these days) and focus on what classes/jobs to level (I was originally going to wait to level everything but one class, but it's hard to get a party with a bottom tier class).

The activities are:
Behest, Caravan, Hamlet Defense, Primal Fights, and the Dungeons. Feel free to specify as needed.

Caravan is ovbiously dominated by Black-mages / Thaumaturges can't beat those instantcast AOE's to keep the chocobos safe.

Nah, This is just a request for infomation post. The OP is just requesting what classes are in the largest demand/supply for X content. I'm not endgame myself yet, but from what my LS has said, THM/BLM dominates. Personally I've seen loads and loads of BLM, WHM, and DRGs running around Ul'dah. Followed by MNK and WAR. That is by no means an accurate census but it gives you a general idea of who is standing around LFG and all.
