Equipping the same ring to both slots with maco

I am wondering how many people try equipping rings with a macro, I have just started to do so and find it to be very tedious as currently I have 2 Zircon Rings for my black mage.

To Macro these I have a Macro that says R.Finger and another L.Finger, the problem is the R.Finger triggers successfully but often when the L.Finger macro is triggered it attempts to equip the same ring that is equipped on my other finger rather than the one still in my inventory. How many others find this, and if its not just me I wonder if there could be some form of fix to this issue.

Hmm, they fixed this issue in the past. Are you sure that it's not just skipping your macro line because macros suck and lines frequently get skipped?

yes I am sure, it says zircon ring is currently equipped

Nope, never had this problem. Not before and not now. When I have two identical rings and one is equipped, and I equip the other slot, it has always picked up the unequipped one.

Try using a /wait 1 between each line.

I have this problem it seem to be mostly "does not equip the second ring" but somtimes it does, weird

It's not very often I have 2 of the same ring... but I would separate the macro lines for the rings and have something between them. For example, R.finger in first line, then something else the second, then have the L.finger.
Also, I normally need two macros for all the jobs so just normally put one finger in one macro and the other finger in the next.

Now I'm going to test that out... lol
