Very slow cutscene loading..

Hello all,

I recently upgraded my graphics card to an EVGA GTX 670 FTW from a GTX 470 and noticed that when zoning into raids or getting other cutscenes in game there is an excessive loading time of 20 seconds to sometimes even a minute. No other changes have been made to my system.

I am using the beta drivers listed in that GTX 680 thread, the xx.48 ones. I've tried lots of different setting options as well (lowering quality, enabling/disabling FSAA to override the game CSAA...still no luck.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems and could offer a potential fix? I'm considering reinstalling the game and or windows next. The fact that this occurred immediately after switching my graphics card out though leads me to believe that may not be the root cause though.

Help! ...and thank you in advance for any suggestions you can offer to help fix.

I would start by looking at Windows "System Diagnostics" reports that are found under it's "Performance Monitor" console. But other than that I have no idea. I wouldn't bother re-installing Windows, or the game. Replace your new card with your old card and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then wait until NVidia has properly tested out their drivers on available software.
