Wrist macro that works

I saw a thread yesterday that is now closed about not being able to get a wrist macro to work.

I was working on my macros last night and today (for the first time) and with much trial and error have found a way to equip all my necessary slots.

While normal /equip wrist "__" and /equip ear(s) "___" did not work, what ended up working was, ridiculously, this:

/equip L.wrist "Item"

and

/equip L.ear "Item"

(even though there is only one ear slot and one wrist slot)

wrists and ears plural works, instead of singular wrist and ear.

I used /equip wrists "Item name" and it works, just alternatives I guess 0.0

Did you use Capital letter for Wrists or Ears? coz that doesn't work, needs to be the lower letter case.

Yes, I tried capital and lower, as well as singular and plural (just as I typed in my posts). None of those combinations worked for me. This is also what I gathered this post that I saw yesterday (a now closed thread, or I would have posted in it.)

Wrist Macros do not work
any kind of macro combination does not equip wrists, no matter what i try, heard others having same issue.

ISP: Wide Open West ( WOW )

Type of Internet Connection: DSL Cable Modem, no routers

Date & Time: All the time macro is used

Frequency :All the time

Character Name: Jenday Madara ( Balmung )

Race: Hyur M

World: Balmung

Class: All/Any

Level: Lv 50

Area and Coordinates: Any Area

Party or Solo: Any

NPC Name: None

Monster Name: None


In-Game Time: Any

Steps: Any type of wrsit equip macro does not equip the item, tried various spellings, adding "s" at the end, w/out an "s", double checked all spellings etc.

What you were doing when the issue occurred: Using a Gear Change macro, seems to only happen on any /equip wrist "name" macro i have.

Since I started working on macros last night, I too had the problem. Went searching for macro help and found somewhere the L.ear and L.wrist suggestion, and low and behold, it worked (for me).

If that doesn't work for you then your spelling sucks and are probably dyslexic.

It's also worth noting that macros are case-sensitive, so often times specific letters need to be uppercase/lowercase in order for the game to recognize it.
