Please remove gender-lock from the Garo gear

The devs have slowly been removing gender-lock from most gear in the game and I imagine we'll eventually reach a point where no gear is gender-locked anymore. I'd assume that applies to the Garo gear as well. There's no real reason I shouldn't be able to wear a butterfly piece in my hair as a male.

That said, the first time the Garo crossover came around, I assumed it would be permanent and it wasn't. I expect it probably won't be permanent this time around either. I feel temporary gear should have priority when it comes to removing restrictions. After all, it's better for people to be able to grab whatever they want from the event as early as they can before it goes away. I had assumed the gender-lock restrictions would have already been removed by now. The later the gender-lock is removed, the less time people have to collect gear they didn't get because they weren't able to equip it before. So my request is to please remove the gender-lock restrictions from the Garo gear as soon as possible

I certainly hope we'll get it. The only risk is that there might be something in the licensing rules that block them from making new or altered versions of the outfits, but that's purely speculation and we don't have any way of knowing for sure until they reach the end of unlocking everything else.

There are items that would be good to have unlocked in both directions.

My main concern is the gear being tied to a temporary event. We had this problem with the 2023 Valentione event. They released 2 sets of gender-locked gear, then removed the gender-lock after the event had already ended. People who anticipated this were able to grab both, but those who didn't will have to buy the other set from the FFXIV store next February if they want it. The Garo gear, however, likely won't end up on the FFXIV store after the event ends. Though I'd personally prefer if they didn't even wait until the Garo event is almost over to remove the gender-lock, let alone doing it after it concludes.

If gear can't be altered because of licensing, there's nothing we can do about that. Most of the gear wouldn't need to be altered to remove the gender-lock though. If any, it'd be the torso and maybe leg pieces. It'd be ideal to have all the gender-lock removed, but anything we can get would be better than nothing.
