How is this a conspiracy? Back in SB people already guessed that CBU3 was working on a single player FF game because Yoshi P said he would like to make one.

Yoshi P has said he would like to work on a new generation MMO and that FF14 is the last MMO in the "second generation"... Yeah the hints are pretty clear.

The same will happen to 14. The only question is when. I think this ten-year period is going to be used for CBU3 to make FF17 using funds from FF14...

Of course they're not, the biggest money maker for SE is mobile games.

Single Player games and MMOs take a backseat to gachagames.

It probably depends if the current formula that they been using for the last 10 years will continue to keep peoples interest for another 10 years with the current formula. I dont think the games current formula will carry the game for 10 more years.

Why bother listening to anything they have to say if you're just going to jump to your own conclusions?

More open communication with the dev team would be greatly appreciated. It's very hard to put any trust or faith in them when they refuse to keep us updated on what they're working on and whether they've heard our feedback. I'd personally be much more lenient with them if we could get a "we've heard your complaints, we're working on a solution, here's our ideas so far" every once in a while.
