Considering they fired the healer designer cause "he got too good" they will never do this. They only care about balancing the game around people that dont even play the game. What Final Fantasy 14 truly lacks is the presence of a private beta-test server offering exclusive access to a handful of instances and one or two maps equipped with training dummies.
Perhaps the access could be restricted to a select few players; nevertheless, this would allow players to voice their opinions regarding the modifications made to the jobs.
They could express whether they appreciate the changes, new spells, and so on.
(Of course, this wouldn't necessarily be a beta-test focused solely on spell potency, but rather a beta-test server that opens a few days, 1-3 months before the changes are implemented.
This would facilitate obtaining feedback, rather than making uninformed changes that might not necessarily be well-received.)"
