    High Queue Times

    Hi
Queue as a DPS and you could wait anywhere from 10 - 20 mins, from a world that is "congested." Meanwhile, only Tanks and Healers get perks from running Roulettes, and god forbid you choose a DPS else you will not only be unrewarded, but wait in line for 30 minutes. I have canceled my sub at this point, and its running out soon. This game has a lot of work to do. Stop the glamourized timed sync from 1.0.

So what you are saying is the most populated role in roulettes has the longest queue time? Why are you surprised? Play a tank or healer and problem solved.

also, DPS can be adv in need, but its rare because, shocker, there are more of them. So they don't need a reward to play their role because queues aren't waiting on them.

Welcome to something normal with MMO's? Unless the Tank or Healer job/class in a game is broken OP the overwhelming majority of players in the game are going to play DPS. Generally this is due to a combination of little to no party responsibility and an obsession with either big numbers or their "dps". Parties can easily clear content without DPS. You're just there to make it take less time.

awww, well if you click my char I have Tank, and Healer to you know, speed things up. Do I like playing them? Negative. The DPS/Healer/ and even Tank scene is TRASSSSSSHHHHH

DPS wait times are common in every trinity mmo I’ve played. That said I have noticed queue times increasing. I usually have an hour before work to play. In the past I could do one or two roulettes before work. Now sometimes the wait is too long and I have to log out without doing any. Happens more than I like lately.

Hoping it’s just the result of us being in a lull and Ff16, Diablo4, and Baldurs 3 all coming out around the same time.

A lot of that is because of DC travel, because everyone just moves to aether to do things now. They never should have added it IMO, its just made other DCs worse off for content.

TBH I feel like 2023 in general has been a big year for game releases and likely to continue. You also have releases from earlier in the year that people are getting around to picking up like Tears of the Koroks. Plus some that ended up getting a huge amount of positive attention somewhat unexpectedly like Dead Island 2, Exoprimal, Remnant 2, etc... And we have more on the way like Payday 3, Starfield, etc... 2024 has a tough act to follow up on lol.

For sure. Starfield will be big and time consuming, also Spider-Man 2 will suck up a bunch of hours for some. It’s going to take me months to get through Baldurs and I will need to find time for Mortal Kombat next month. My FF playtime is now less than 5 hours a week. Hard to juggle it all.

All these excitement new games does mean I do the bare minimum gear up a couple roles - what’s left isn’t exiting enough to compete with brand new stories and gameplay.

Sorry, but what even is this? If there are more DPS in queue, of course your roulette time is going to take longer. Are you complaining about the concept of supply and demand?
