Hoping we see it again in 7.X, the content absolutely keeps me playing. The pipe dream is to see it announced at EU fanfest for me currently. From a post on the reddit FFXIV Discord as discussed in some media interviews.
"Plans for new large field battle content like Eureka or Bozja are being discussed."

I think there is a good chance we'll see them again and personally I hope we do.
My main is a 10/10/10, I have 5 Fran bikes with a number of alts 1 note away and multiple Cerberus and Marbles. I played that content to death. I would love it back in a new venue in a heartbeat. Relative to this relic I'll take what we got in lieu of repeating atma, rng relic drops in dungeons, light farming and so on. Running old content isn't my idea of fun. BA, Critical Encounters, Castrum, Dalraida, Delibrum, DRS and so on was new and fun. It was a major time sink that kept people in game and playing something the game sorely needs again.

Im not completely against Explore Zones, but they need to be better somehow. The NM Fate Grinds are NOT fun.
A souless bloated grind isnt fun or engaging. Just because it takes a long time, doesnt mean its enjoyable.
How about some side activities, more things to do in an EXPLORE Zone.
Combine old and new Diadem and maybe create some additional activities, and NOT make it a souless hamster wheel, and wed probly have a pretty Boss Zone
oh it's actually 4 but still really bad lmao
june:Also the fact that me being a huge nerd of this game, went through an alt going through expansion's content patch by patch by using this handy wiki that nicely lists what got added https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Game_release in each release
So GaiusDrakon is technically wrong here...I HAVE played the game patch through patch, even with the minor QoL changes to certain pieces of content. His argument is invalid.
So the guy actually creates his own "content" because the game's content is an absolute bore, by doing 4x the story that takes 10 years to do and what comes after, and then refuses for us to get more content ?
No wonder he doesnt want content, bro literally creates his own content by repeating the same thing over and over again
No way, this is actually too funny to be true, but it is! LOL
I'm not against alts, but how are you gonna tell me with a straight face that you want the game to have LESS content while you're using FOUR alts just to get through the content drought?
yeah it's ultra ironic when they're lecturing people about relics being boring ? ? ?
Mans playing XIV like its a single player title. So the guy actually creates his own "content" because the game's content is an absolute bore, by doing 4x the story that takes 10 years to do and what comes after, and then refuses for us to get more content ?
No wonder he doesnt want content, bro literally creates his own content by repeating the same thing over and over again
If and when players have to create their own content to keep playing a game (Take runescape for example, the first Ironmen were people so bored with the game they had to set themselves rules to play to make it fun again), you know there are major issues.
The developers can do what Jagex did and listen to the playerbase that NEED more content to stay committed to the franchise, or can pull a Blizzard Entertainment and blame game failures on the community.
Its weirdly funny how relevant this image is today, from the CBU3 team themselves almost 10 years ago.

It baffles me that OP thinks grind is objectively bad because they personally don't enjoy it. There do exist people who enjoy optional grinds. I personally did 255 runs of DRN for my relic and enjoyed it, I would love to see bozja return, especially the 1v1 duels.
