Praying this comes in 7.0. At the time of this writing, if you befriend someone who turns out to be psychotic, they can keep you on their friends list and have permanent tabs on where you are, when you're online, etc. for the rest of your time in the game even after you remove them on your end. All it takes is one bad experience to make someone wary of ever adding a stranger again. A community where people are paranoid about befriending each other because it's impossible to shake a crazy person, is going to have a difficult time, and all this system has done is aided people who use it for abusive purposes while forcing victims to straight up make new characters to get away from stalkers they added who seemed normal when they met. But hey, at least nobody was oFfEnDeD about being removed from a friends list.

Don't add people on your friend list. Mine have been empty since years if someone wants to talk that's why discord exists.
