Job gear in armoire?

You can actually not reclaim HW job gear, because it is acquired through poetics and can be turned in for company seals.
You can really only get job gear from the salvager that was gained through quests, because those can not be repeated to reacquire it.

It's unnecessarily confusing tbh, but not too big of a deal so it's probably at the bottom of their priority list.

You can reclaim it... via poetics. :O

Heavensward, the only expansion where they don't just give you the job gear. And where the first level cap dungeon drops no gear. No wonder they had to make Thordan such a pushover, nobody was geared.

Yes, I'm sure they can't change the programming of the armoire to be able to store job/class gear. There must be no possible way they can go back and tag gear as armoire compatible.
We are told we can play every role on one character but there aren't enough glamour plates, for each job, and there's not enough glamour dresser space, to fit all the lvl 1 glam items, as well as scrip, tomestone, dungeon/raid, crafted, for all the jobs/classes that we can level.

I would also like it if you could store the LV60+ AF in the armoire. And the garo gear, and anything you can buy again from the calamity salvager. One can dream, right?

Originally I think they said the armoire only had 256 (!) slots or something. Somehow they expanded it. Going forward, all mog station gear will be storable in the armoire at least (and that includes old event gear.)

800 glamour dresser slots is currently almost enough for all of my tome gear.

Of course it would be even better to have a glamour closet/wardrobe that automatically contained all gear you had ever bound to your character.

But the glamour dresser would still be useful for dyed customizations.
