[Suggestion] Crafting & Gathering: 'Creator'/'Adventure' Journal & Crafter Work Order

With the Recipe Tree and Raw Material lists, getting supplies for crafting individual pieces was made much easier, the game able to take into account raw and crafted materials already present in player and retainer inventories, and calculate the remaining raw materials needed to complete the item.

I propose an upgrade to this, by introducing 'Work Orders'. This would allow a crafter to put multiple items on a list of planned crafts, and the Work Order would then be able to calculate how many crafted/raw materials were available and still needed to complete all of the planned items as a unit. This would also allow Raw Materials to be added by themselves without an attached recipe.

As an extension of this, a secondary journal option could be introduced, switching from the battle-quest based 'adventure' journal, and displaying a crafting/gathering-based 'Creator' journal, tracking materials for work orders as well as DoL/DoH quests, and be able to be switched on and off like quest tracking. Much like how a battle quest would bring up a map for the quest objective, the Creator Journal would allow clicking on a particular material to bring up a map directing the player to the area of the gathering nodes for it, as well as swap quest zones on the mini-map for gathering areas. And, of course, this would come with it's own 'Recommendations' tab.

other 3rd party websites do this but it would be nice if you could create lists (for like say a full set of indigator crafting/gathering gear) and be able to track it in game.

Exactly. That would be one good example of it. We know the framework for it is already in place with quest tracking as well as the recipe trees and raw material lists.
