Is it rude to summon Demi-Bahamut?

Tiamat bound herself for centuries as punishment for summoning the primal Bahamut, which she saw as desecrating the memory of her love, the true Bahamut. It seems like when Summoners use Allagan techniques to summon Dem-Bahamut — a subservient simulacra of Bahamut — there's a solid chance that Tiamat would find this to be similarly abhorrent. Given this context, it seems like summoning Demi-Bahamut would at the very least be a faux pas.

I'm curious to hear the thoughts of my fellow Warriors of Light on this matter!

As long as Tiamat doesn't know, and doesn't see you doing it... Lets just keep it behind closed doors around that dragon. She almost certainly would be most displeased with us summoners.

It's just a mass of Bahamut's lingering aether being coalesced into a form resembling its source. Dragons (other than Nidhogg) have thus far shown themselves to be very well-thought, rational beings. While it's true they can be pretty sentimental, they don't let it overwhelm their sense of reason most of the time. In this case, I'd wager Tiamat might actually derive some modicum of joy in seeing something good come from her and her brother's tragedy, even if it's so simple as a primal's remaining energies being used for something positive.

Not any worse than when we summon Phoenix in front of Alisaie all the time. Tiamat only had to suffer fighting side-by-side once but Alisaie is there for the long haul.

That was Lak Shmi and the Ananta Queen (the good ones) that we can choose to say that too not the Kojin.


And uhm about tiamat getting offended, i think shes more offended at the ascians using her and the primal bahamut for bad than for us using demi to help others...

That's such a shame that we never got any ingame lore about the demi-summons. I wish jobquests were still a thing for stuff like that and beyond.
