The people who owned more than one plot when that system was around were mainly those who were grandfathered in/purchased their housing back when it was first opened and less in demand + you could just walk up and buy it. If Square didn't see it fit to remove them then it's kind of an is what it is situation.

No, actually, the whole thread was posted because *someone* was talking about RMT and bots and multiple accounts. So then a discussion happens, but instead of having a healthy debate, *someone* decides to create a bunch of alts to bring on a bunch of misinformation.

My two cents on the issue:
On my server (Spriggan) people own whole wards while the bids on a Medium some months ago were more than 400.

As a fan of decorating houses myself. I would rather take this specific ward you are talking about instead of the others in the same area from new home owners who are either clueless about decorating, too poor after buying it or let it sit empty there after they got what the wanted to flex around Limsa and are not interested in decorating.
