Please help! Can't place my bid on housing.

Looking for an answer from anyone since SE Game Master's refer me to the forums.
I can't seem to place bids on any housing ever since I won our current FC house bid. I can still place bids on my other Character though. And I get this error message when I try to bid on the affected character:
"Lottery entry and plot purchase unavailable. No more land may be purchased on this world by characters attached to this service account."
I haven't been banned, or anything, so I don't know what's going on. I have re-read the rules multiple times to see if there is any restrictions from buying a house. And I see others bidding on other housing after winning theirs.

Does your other character already have a house on the same world? If so that’s likely the issue. The other character could relocate, so they’re still able to bid. Your current character won the FC, so can’t get another FC house unless they were to leave. But that shouldn’t stop you from bidding on a personal unless your other character already has one.

A bit more information would be helpful to try to figure out the problem.

What type of house are you trying to enter for?

Are you using the character that purchased the FC house or a different character on the same world?

Are you entering to purchase or to relocate?

Housing rules: can only own ONE fc and private house per service account per world.

The players you see with multiple fcs are using a loophole that square needs to close to gain additional housing.

Unfortunately, it's a loophole that SE cleaned and decorated nicely with Empyreum's release. Before that, the posted rules made it sound like 1 FC house per world was the intended limit. After, it's now clear they're fine with players owning multiple FC houses per world as long as the character purchasing the FC house moves to a different FC.

What SE needs to do is stop spending resources on expanding the ward system and bring the instanced housing system out of the apartment dark age into the modern era like many other MMORPGs with housing.

If they would do that, players could already have their Crystarium housing, Ala Mhigo housing, Old Sharlayan housing, Sea of Clouds housing, etc. Players could set up blacklists and whitelists so no more unwanted trolls hanging out in their venues. Even players who prefer ward housing would have their 3-axis placement, 3-axis rotation and possibly even resizing of furnishings instead of having to resort to awkward glitching or use of third-party tools to create the look they want.

I reached out to square enix support several times regarding this issue and the only replies they gave me were "fill out a big report", "answering your question falls outside the scope of our services", and "we aplogize for being unable to speak with you directly".
My scenario was as follows: had an alt in a solo FC, but friends and I decided to form our own FC and leave the one we were in. I use dmy alt to secure a plot, then we all joined. After 30 days I passed leadership to my main, and we were just vibing. A while later we expanded and decided to upgrade to a medium. When I went to relocate I was told I can't purchase more land, despite only having an FC house. I was unable to use my main, or alt that had purchased the plot initially. Reached out to square, got nothing from them. I asked around in game, and someone in novice network sent me a tell saying they know all about this because they were [violating tos] and they informed me that it's simply my account had a homeowner tag, and the only way to remove it was to pass leadership to a character on another service account, leave the FC then rejoin and take my rank back. Lemme tell ya that was the exact opposite of how I expected to resolve the problem. The same issue arose again after relocation to the medium, I was unable to purchase any personal plots. Had to give my game spose leadership again and again countless times just to bid on houses and lose. Then they stole my FC and squenix basically laughed at me and said it's my fault for passing lead to another that isn't trustworthy, despite us having chat logs of the agreement surrounding temporary leadership that is to be passed back to me after I bid. (Violating an in game agreement is tos violation) and they told me in order to keep free companies secure they don't intervene in these situations. To keep them secure you ignore a bug for years that forces fc leaders to risk losing their FC just to enter lotto for a personal? That's a weird flex

If you purchased the FC and are still a member it will block you from buying another FC while still a member since your character is considered the "owner" of the FC plot you have now. You'll have to leave and not go back to it in order to purchase another FC. Privates should be fine to buy but if that's not working then I'd double check you don't have any other private houses on the server you're trying to purchase on.

also lol @ instanced housing being a topic again even back then, it aint happening, just stop, the best you'll get is at best housing mirage, and even then they put their hope up by mistranslating Yoshi from an LL, what was mentioned on the LL was the ability to change the layout and remove pylons/columns, they never mentioned change the size, but they are keeping their hopes up based on a wrong translation which makes it even funnier.
