Seriously though, Bard in XIV will always be a BARCHER till they technically separate the playstyles more. You're better off requesting an OH slot of instruments that boosts song potency or even give access to unique songs...well thats like FFXI too but it made sense and what I liked about bard ; ;

By the way, BRD wasn't bad in XI, only people who didnt like the job detested playing it, you as the BRD/COR controlled your party, not the other way around.
