People might be forgetting that essentially you were able to start working on relic weapons from patch 1.19 and onwards. That's like a year time right there, or at least almost is, although I know a lot of stuff you couldn't quite do until more recent patches. But yeah, it isn't like you couldn't make progress toward the quest until 1.22b or w/e. If you're starting the quest now, it'll take months to finish.

Not quite sure what this means. I don't think you can count any "work toward relic" until they actually announced the relic and how to get it. Otherwise you could say that ppl started working on relics Day 1 Launch Day because they could farm beastcoins.

If we knew that we would be getting Relics back in 1.19 and kinda knew what we needed.. then I would agree with you.

The only thing that was in game related to relics at 1.19 was the beast coins that SE told us to "hang onto if we feel like it, they don't have any plans for them yet"
