I want to get hard to get items out of skill not luck.. its not fun when its "luck" makes me not wanna do it so much...

I think the only bad thing in this quest is the double melding weapon. Besides that, everything else is fine. Sure I could complain about each step, but in the long run, it is something I can deal with. Hamlet seals drop frequently, can get dungeon items 100% if you beat it less than 17 minutes, and so on.

This step can even be "Skipped" in a sense as I can look to the market wards for Double melded Relic weapons pre-reqs for not a terrible price.

30m~ isn't really that hard to come across. Might take a while but it's something you can work towards instead of throwing 5m at a weapon you can just save up and buy one.
